WTC Final 2023: The players of the Indian and Australia cricket team were seen wearing black armbands to condole the loss of lives in the Odisha train accident. Hundreds of people lost their lives after three trains collided into each other in Odisha's Balasore on Friday.

Close to 300 people have lost their lives and more than 800 people have faced severe injuries. The Indian sports community including the cricketers had expressed their condolence to the family members, friends and relatives of the victims. Many have come forward with financial help as well.

The Indian and Australian team's gesture towards the victims of the Odisha rail tragedy has been applauded by one and all. The pictures of the players sporting the black armband have gone viral.

Talking about the match, India captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to bat first. India have entered the match with four pacers and a spin-bowling all-rounder in Ravindra Jadeja. Ravichandran Ashwin, Ishan Kishan and Jaydev Unadkat have been left out.

Australia have also opted to go with the same composition. Scott Boland and all-rounder Cameron Green are the two pacers alongside Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins.
