WWE Raw: Netflix Wants Three Specific Superstars On Red Brand In 2025

WWE is gearing up to bring high-octane action from weekly television programming on Netflix with their trademark show Monday Night Raw moving to the OTT platform starting at the beginning of next year.

The debut episode of WWE Raw on Netflix, set for January 6, with the host venue rumoured to be the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, California, will reportedly be one of the biggest in WWE programming's history.

While multiple active superstars from the main roster will be onboard that night, legends from the past will also likely attend the Netflix episode. To make Raw’s move a permanent success, the streaming platform has filed further requests to the WWE.

Fightful Select reports that Netflix has specifically requested top talent from the men’s roster to be on Raw on a weekly basis. The three specific names they want to be on Monday nights are Roman Reigns, WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, and CM Punk.

These choices come as no-brainers since they are the most sought-after names from the men’s side in the WWE but the official statement of the placement is yet to come since these stars already have their brands assigned.

Since this year’s WWE Draft, CM Punk has been a part of the Monday Night Raw brand while Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes reside on SmackDown. As such, there are no clarifications available regarding the latter duos' future appearances on Raw.

While speaking on Fightful Select’s Q&A podcast, Sean Ross Sapp revealed that talent he has spoken to, are yet to be informed which brand they will be assigned to once WWE moves to Netflix, next year.

A commercial video was shot on October 27 where stars from both SmackDown and Raw were present including IYO SKY, Kairi Sane, Motor City Machine Guns, Elektra Lopez, Baron Corbin, and members of the LWO.

If this shoot is any indication then both the red and blue brand superstars will be seen in action after Raw moves to Netflix. But per Fightful, a determining factor like a Draft or a Superstar Shakeup can’t be wiped out.
