For the very first time, WWE Raw emanated from the soil of Saudi Arabia at the Mohammed Abdu Arena in Riyadh, last night with two headliner matches on the card to determine new challengers for the world titles.
In the opening match of the show, IYO SKY of DAMAGE CTRL defeated Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, Alba Fyre, Isla Dawn, Maxxine Durpi, Sonya Deville, Shayna Baslzer, Ivy Nile, Katana Chance, Zelina Vega, Natalya & Lyra Valkyria in a Battle Royal.

The finishing sequence of the match had Valkyria and SKY remaining in the ring. The two fought on the apron until SKY executed a German suplex on the apron, eliminating Valkyria to win the match.
Per the stipulation of this contest, IYO SKY has now become the new Number-One Contender for the WWE Women’s World Championship. Hence, she will challenge the reigning champion Liv Morgan on a to-be-announced date.
Before the battle royal, Morgan and her cohort Raquel Rodriguez opened WWE Raw to declare the much-touted “Liv Morgan Revenge Tour” was over after conquering 2024 with multiple milestone achievements including taking out Rhea Ripley, last week.
Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair interrupted the duo as Morgan attempted to create tension between the two tag champions. But Raw General Manager Adam Pearce was quickly out to commence the battle royal for the new challenger’s spot.
As of late, Morgan is on a roll as she defeated WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax in a Champion vs. Champion Match on Saturday’s Crown Jewel premium live event to become the first-ever WWE Women's Crown Jewel Champion.
Also, in the main event of the November 4 episode of WWE Raw, Damian Priest defeated Dominik Mysterio, Sheamus, and Seth Rollins in a Fatal-4-Way match to become the new Number-One Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Bronson Reed interfered in the match and hit the competitors (excluding Dominik) with Tsunami Splashes in the ring with one through the announce table on Rollins. Later, Priest pinned Dominik to secure the pin-fall victory.
To close things on Raw, Gunther came out after the match to have a face-off with Priest. The two previously met at SummerSlam in August where Gunther won and they’re now gearing up for the impending rematch.
