Yashasvi Jaiswal has risen marvellously in the ongoing Test series against England. The India batter has racked up 618 runs already this series and is going strong with two double centuries already to his name.
Jaiswal has showcased his class as a batter and along with his grit and talent, the player promises to be one who can be a long-term mainstay for the Indian team.

Jaiswal has already played in Tests and T20Is, and as he looks to cement his place across all formats, his father expressed his joy recently. In a chat with India Today, Yashasvi Jaiswal's father depicted many things and also revealed the diet secret of the Indian batter.
Bhupendra Jaiswal, Yashasvi's father, said that his son likes normal Indian food, but also indulges into non-veg items, especially Mutton.
"He is very fond of Mutton, and he likes Rice, Daal, Breads and Curry," Jaiswal's father said.
But although Mutton and other carbohydrate delicacies are something he savours, the Indian batter currently maintains a strict diet regime.
Nowadays, Yashasvi mainly relies on Lean Proteins, complex carbohydrates, and on fruits and vegetables. He avoids processed food and sugary items, and also steers clear of fast food and other fatty delicacies. Along with that, the Indian player also takes an adequate amount of water to keep himself hydrated. In terms of eating fruits, the player mainly indulges in whole fruits rather than juices.
