The fact that Yashasvi brought up his first-ever IPL hundred at his home ground and in the 1000th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL), made the ton even more special. Notably, the youngster plays for Mumbai in domestic cricket.
The innings has also made the Uttar Pradesh-born cricketer the new owner of the Orange Cap. He has scored 428 runs from nine matches now, six more runs than Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Faf du Plessis who has played eight matches so far.
