Yashasvi Jaiswal's gutsy knock came to an end after a steamy delivery from Bangladesh's nearly 6-feet-five-inch tall pacer Nahid Rana generated a sharp edge which was caught by Shadman Islam at first slip. The dismissal created pressure and KL Rahul soon succumbed to it and followed Jaiswal after being dismissed by spinner Mehidy Hasan Miraz in the next over.
Nahid Rana's relentless fast bowling finally fetched him the big wicket of Yashasvi Jaiswal in the second session on the opening day of the first Test between India and Bangladesh in Chennai.

On the fourth ball of the 42 over, the 21-year-old bowled a sharp short-pitched delivery from over the wicket which angled away after pitching on off. Jaiswal was outdone by the extra pace and bounce, and ended up edging the ball to the slip cordon.
The southpaw was left stunned as the lanky pacer celebrated with his teammates with a cheeky smile and a wink. Jaiswal held one end for India and scored 56 runs with the help of nine boundaries. His wicket created further pressure on India, who were left reeling at 144/5.
After Jaiswal's departure, the pressure mounted on star batter KL Rahul, who ended up getting caught at short leg off the bowling of off-spinner Mehidy Hasan Miraz.
The senior batter, who became the first batter to fall to spin on Day 1, kept shaking his head in disappointment on his long way back to the pavilion. The cameraperson also tried showing the mood in the dressing room, and the tensed faces showed the story.
Like the first session, three wickets fell in the second session as India went to Tea at 176/6 in 48 overs.
