'Ye India nahi hai tera, **** faad dunga': Haris Rauf attempts to beat a fan on street as wife watches - Video

By MyKhel Staff

Haris Rauf got into an ugly brawl with a fan on streets after Pakistan's early exit from the T20 World Cup 2024 in the USA. Pakistan, who lost to USA and India in their Group A fixtures, failed to qualify for the Super 8.

In a video which has gone viral, Haris Rauf can be seen getting triggered by a fan comment as he strolls past them with his wife. The fuming Pakistan pacer rushed to beat the fan.

As he approached the fan, three of his friends interrupted and held Haris Rauf from getting into any physical altercation. "Nahi Haris bhai nahi," one of them could be heard saying as the speedster confronted the fan, who said he was just asking for a picture.

"Bas ek picture maangi hai, fans hai aapke (I just asked for one picture, we are your fans)," the fan could be repeatedly heard saying.

Haris Rauf then hurled abuses. Though unclear, he could be seemingly heard saying, "Baap ko gaali de raha hai? India nahi hai ye (Is it your father's home. This is not India),"

The fan quickly answers that he was not an Indian fan and was from Pakistan. The Pakistan cricketer continued blasting the fan and raised questions on his bringing.

"Pakistan se hai fir bhi ye haalat hai teri? Is this what your father has taught you? (You behave like this despite being from Pakistan?)."

All the while, Haris Rauf's wife could be seen stopping her husband and even placing her hand on his mouth. Haris Rauf and the group of fans walked off separately after the heated altercation.

Haris Rauf finished as the joint-highest wicket-taker for Pakistan in the T20 World Cup 2024. He picked seven wickets in four matches at an average of 14.42 and an economy rate of 6.73. The 30-year-old registered figures of 3/21 against India on June 9.

However, he failed to defend 15 runs in the final over against the USA in Pakistan's opening game of the T20 World Cup 2024. Pakistan lost that match against USA after a thrilling Super Over, and later lost to India as well. India and USA qualified for Super 8 from Group A.
