Year Ender 2023: List of Big Records Created in This Year in International Cricket

The year 2023 was packed with cricketing action with multi-nation tournaments like the ODI World Cup, the Asian Games, Asia Cup and the two-nation battle in the World Test Championship final.

Like every year several records were created, but in 2023 some of the impossible landmarks or milestones were breached like the highest total in Twenty20 internationals, most hundreds in One Day Internationals and more.

List of Big records created in 2023 in international cricket

Star India batter Virat Kohli surpassed a feat which many thought would be unconquered when he reached 50 hundreds in ODIs, surpassing the previous record of 49 tons in ODIs by legendary Sachin Tendulkar.

Kohli achieved the feat during the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 in which several records were broken from the highest total and fastest century to most World Cup hundreds and the highest run-getter in a single ODI World Cup.

Also, during the action-packed year, Nepal broke multiple T20I records in the Asian Games preliminary round match against newcomers Mongolia as they smashed the highest total in an inning which also saw two batters break the fastest fifty and fastest century records.
