'You are trying to break my foot': India captain Rohit Sharma to Net Bowler in Dubai - Watch

India captain Rohit Sharma shared a hilarious exchange with one of the net bowlers in Dubai ahead of Champions Trophy 2025.

The Indian team has reached Dubai and is currently preparing in full fledge ahead of the coveted ICC tournament.

Team India refused to play in Pakistan and will be playing all of their matches in Dubai, starting from February 20 when they lock horns against Bangladesh. After that, Rohit Sharma and co. will face arch-rivals Pakistan on February 23, followed by New Zealand on March 2.

As the Indian team is in practice in the UAE city, various net bowlers have been introduced for their practice. A video has been circling on social media where Rohit can be seen praising a net bowler and his inswinging yorker.

"He is a class bowler. You were trying to break my leg with the inswinging yorker. Excellent. Thank you for helping us [net bowling] here, we feel very thankful for that," Rohit could be heard saying to the net bowler.

Shubman Gill is also in the frame with Rohit and the Net bowler, who was in awe of meeting with the Indian captain. Although the nationality of the net bowler is unknown, social media buzz claims he is either of Pakistan or Afghanistan origin.

India to miss Morne Morkel for Bangladesh Clash

As India prepare for the Bangladesh clash, they will be missing their bowling coach Morne Morkel. The South African legend has gone back to his country after the demise of his father. Mohammed Shami and Arshdeep Singh are likely to lead the pace attack while Kuldeep Yadav, Washington Sundar and Ravindra Jadeja may have spin-bowling duties.

India will be playing the first match of a 50-over ICC tournament against Bangladesh for the first time since the World Cup in 2011.
