In a first ahead of the 2-Test series against Bangladesh starting September 19, the BCCI on Wednesday morning released a teaser of a Virat Kohli-Gautam Gambhir interview to excite the fans.
The full interview is yet to be released, but the promo itself has garnered a lot of attention. The two mercurial Delhi boys also touched upon the topic of on-field sledging and its impact on a batter.

Team India head coach Gautam Gambhir could not hold his laughter after the question put forward by Virat Kohli. The former opener quipped that Kohli himself would be the better person to answer the question as his number of on-field altercations were far more than him.
"When you're batting and you have a bit of a chat with the opposition, did you ever feel like this might carry on to you going out of the zone and potentially getting out, or did it put you in a more motivated space?" Kohli asked.
"You had more altercations than I have. You can answer that question better than I can," Gambhir answered before the two ended up laughing together.
Kohli. who looked in a jolly mood, answered back saying he was just looking for someone to affirm his stand before adding that the interview also puts an end to all the rumours regarding their much-talked-about relationship.
"I am looking for someone who agrees with my opinion. I am not saying that it's wrong. I am looking for someone to say, 'Yes, this is the right way. We've come a long way, and we're putting an end to all the masala and all the spice," Kohli, who has been involved in heated exchanges with Gambhir on more than one occasion in IPL, stated.
The start of the promo shows Gambhir praising Kohli and his rise in international cricket with a stunning batting display in which he scored 693 runs in four matches including four hundreds and a fifty. He reckoned that Kohli was in a zone, just like he was when he batted for over two days against New Zealand in Napier to save a Test match in 2009.
"I remember when you had that bumper series in Australia where you scored heaps and heaps of runs, and that got you in that zone. For me, it was exactly the same when I played in Napier... I have never been in that zone ever in my life after that. So I can imagine how good that feeling is to be in that zone," Gambhir said.
India are gearing up to play their first Test under the coaching of Gambhir. The team is already practicing in Chennai where the first Test will be played against Bangladesh from Friday, September 19.
