A rampant Yusuf Pathan destroyed Mohammed Amir as Johannesburg Buffaloes beat Durban Qalandars to reach the Zim Afro T10 Final on Friday (July 28).
The former India batter rolled back the years with his devastating batting and decimated Pakistani bowler Mohammed Amir, and helped his team to snatch a terrific victory.

Chasing 141, Pathan came into bat at 25 for 2, and took his team to the Final with a sublime knock. Yusuf batted brilliantly and scored an unbeaten 80 off just 26 balls, with 4 fours and 9 sixes decorating his blitzkrieg.
The match changed in the 8th over of Buffaloes' inning. With 64 runs needed in the last three overs, Pathan destroyed Amir.
He hit the Pakistani bowler for three sixes, and then got a boundary in the last ball to yield 24 runs off that over. An additional wide meant Amir gave 25 runs away in that over, which completely changed the momentum of the match.
Pathan hit Amir for a six over deep extra cover to start the over. The next ball sailed over mid-wicket for another six. The third ball was a dot ball, but Pathan then clobbered the third maximum of the over with a six to backward square leg. He managed a couple and a boundary in the last two balls as Buffaloes scored 24 runs off the Amir over.
Pathan then went berserk on Brad Evans to score 19 runs in the 9th over. The Buffaloes needed 20 runs in the final over to win, and Pathan went 6,4,6,4 of Tendai Chatara to win Buffaloes the match with a ball to spare.
Qalandars, despite the loss, won the Qualifier 2 match and will meet Joburg Buffaloes again in the Final on Sunday (July 30).
