New Delhi, April 7: On the day when everyone was waiting for grand opening ceremony of Indian Premier League (IPL) in Kolkata on Tuesday, April 7, cricketer Yuvraj Singh's father Yograj Singh created uproar in the country.

Yograj Singh delivered hate comments against Team India captain MS Dhoni. Despite Yuvraj Singh's repeated statements that everything is going fine between him and Dhoni, his father continues to spit venom against Mr Cool. Ever since the news surfaced regarding Dhoni's team selection for ICC World Cup 2015, for which Yuvraj was not selected, Yograj Singh has been criticising Dhoni. [Was Dhoni behind Yuvraj's ouster?]

This time, however, he broke all limits. During an interview, Yograj Singh was quoted as saying, "Dhoni was nothing. He has become a God in cricket just because of media. Media has crowned him as a great which he never deserved."

"Honestly, if I were a media person, I would have slapped Dhoni right there. Dhoni is arrogant. The way Ravana's proud came to an end, Dhoni will also suffer some day. He considers himself much above Ravana," added the former Team India player.

However, Yograj's comment against did not go well with Dhoni fans. Micro-blogging site Twitter was flooded with comments on Yograj and most of them slammed the former cricketer.
