Indian cricket legend Yuvraj Singh is set to introduce a new T10 league in Canada, named the Canada Super 60.
Collaborating with Star 333 Sports Inc, Yuvraj, now 43, aims to launch the inaugural edition in July.

Expressing his excitement about the project, Yuvraj stated, "I am delighted to lend my leadership and vision to the Canada Super 60 League. This tournament has the potential to be a stepping stone for the future of cricket in this region. Combining local talent and international stars is a recipe for something truly special. I am excited to be part of this journey and can't wait to see the impact this league will have on cricket in North America."
A key aspect of the league is its commitment to inclusivity, as it will feature both men's and women's competitions in the same format.
"A key highlight of the league is its emphasis on inclusivity, featuring both men's and women's leagues. The Canada Super 60 League will be the first league in North America to feature both men's and women's competitions right from its inaugural year," the league announced in a statement.
The tournament will consist of eight teams, each comprising a combination of local players, international stars, and a set number of cricketers from associate nations. The first season is set to be held in Toronto, with plans to expand to other cities across Canada in the future.
