Rajasthan Royals (RR) spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, the highest wicket-taker in IPL history, created history during IPL 2024 match 38 against Mumbai Indians at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Monday (April 22).
Chahal, who leads the list for most wickets in IPL, became the first player to claim 200 wickets in the Indian Premier League. The leg-spinner is now one scalp away from becoming the first Indian player to take 350 wickets in T20 cricket.

The 34-year-old has started the IPL 2024 season well, claiming 13 wickets in 8 matches and is very much in the race to win his second purple cap after winning one in his first season with the Royals in 2022.
Chahal, who made his IPL debut with Mumbai Indians in 2013, made a name for himself during his stint with Royal Challengers Bengaluru from 2014 to 2021, when he also became one of the first picks for Team India in white ball format.
As he creates history, here is a look at most wickets in IPL, a breakdown of Chahal's wickets based on most wickets against an opponent, most dismissal of a batter, the best mode of dismissals over the years in IPL:
