IPL 2023: Rajasthan Royals (RR) spinner Yuzvendra Chahal became the first Indian bowler to pick 300 T20 wickets on Sunday. The leg-spinner achieved the feat by castling Sunrisers Hyderabad's star Harry Brook at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in match 4 of the IPL 2023.
Coming to bowl right after the powerplay overs, Chahal's delivery which pitched on the middle and off stump skidded through to beat Brook's bat and hit the stumps. The England batter tried to cut it but did not get any room. Chahal celebrated his 300th T20 wicket with a pumped up fashion.
The 32-year-old later got the prized wicket of well set Mayank Agarwal (27 off 33) as well as SRH skittled to 52 for the loss of six wickets in reply to Rajasthan's 203/5 at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad.
