Yuzvendra Chahal has picked up the 2nd hat-trick of his IPL career in the IPL 2025 match between Chennai Super Kings and Punjab Kings on Wednesday (April 30).
Chahal picked up the wickets of Deepak Hooda, Anshul Kamboj and Noor Ahmad in three consecutive deliveries in the 19th over to complete his hat-trick. Earlier in the same over, Chahal had picked up the wicket of MS Dhoni.

The veteran India spinner ended up with a stellar figure of 4 for 32 in his three overs as CSK got bundled out for 190 runs after putting into bat first by PBKS captain Shreyas Iyer. The Super Kings lost their final five wickets in seven balls, largely due to the magic of Chahal.
Yuzvendra Chahal has now picked up his 2nd hat-trick in IPL, the first of which came against KKR in IPL 2023. He has joined the likes of Yuvraj Singh and Amit Mishra who have multiple hat-tricks. Former India spinner Amit Mishra sits at the top of the chart with 3 hat-tricks in IPL. Renowned for his explosive batting, Yuvraj Singh also showcased his bowling skills by achieving two hat-tricks in the 2009 IPL season.
Chahal also becomes the first bowler to get a hat-trick against Chennai Super Kings in the IPL.
