Yuzvendra Chahal is happy for Kuldeep Yadav and is not thinking about returning to the Indian team right now. Chahal and Kuldeep formed the famous 'Kul-Cha' spin duo for India. While Kuldeep is still a key player in ODIs, Chahal last played for India in August 2023.
Speaking to Hindustan Times before IPL 2025, Chahal said he is not worried about selection. He also praised Kuldeep, calling him the best wrist-spinner in the world. He believes Kuldeep's performances in IPL and international cricket prove it.

"I don't think about what is not in my hands," Chahal said when asked about an India comeback. "Right now, he (Kuldeep) is the No.1 wrist spinner in the world. It shows in the way he is bowling both in IPL and international cricket," Chahal said.
Chahal spoke about his strong bond with Kuldeep and the Haryana spinner said he enjoyed bowling with him. Both had the same attacking mindset and trusted each other completely.
"I have loved bowling with Kuldeep. We enjoy a great bonding, on and off the field. It shows," he said.
"It was fun bowling with him because we have a similar approach to bowling. Both of us love to attack. It was also partnership bowling. When one of us would go for runs, the other would make it tighter from the other end. We always trusted each other," the leg-spinner added.
Chahal was part of the T20 World Cup squad in 2024 but didn't play a single match. His last appearance for India came in 2023 against West Indies in T20Is. On the other hand, Kuldeep Yadav has continued to showcase his mettle and was part of India's Champions Trophy winning squad earlier this month in UAE.
Chahal and Kuldeep played 37 ODIs together and took 130 wickets in total. Both will play in IPL 2025 this season. Kuldeep will continue with Delhi Capitals, while Chahal has joined Punjab Kings for the season.
