A couple of days later, however, the visitors bounced back, riding on an unbeaten century from Saim Ayub to pull off a 10-wicket win after bundling out the hosts for a paltry 145.

Despite being asked to bowl first, Pakistan spinners impressed as Abrar Ahmed claimed four and Salman Ali Agha took three wickets to bowl out Zimbabwe in 32 overs. In response, Ayub (113* off 62 balls) and Abdullah Shafique (32* off 48 balls) made lightwork of the chase.
