Danielle Dorris Biography

While in El Paso, Danny played football and participated in athletics. When her family returned to Canada in 2012, she resumed swimming. She describes swimming as a way to forget her worries and a form of meditation and relaxation.

Youngest Paralympian

At age 13, Danny became the youngest athlete to represent Canada at the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. This milestone marked a significant achievement in her early career.

Danny pursued Health Studies and Physical Education at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. She is fluent in both English and French.
