Dave Ellis Biography

He was first introduced to Para triathlon at a talent identification day in February 2013. Before that, he represented Great Britain in swimming at the 2008 Paralympic Games in Beijing. His brother also swam at the national level as a junior.

Challenges and Injuries

In January 2022, he fractured both of his arms after falling during a training run. This injury was a significant setback, but he continued to train and compete. He also faced disappointment after missing out on qualification as a swimmer for the 2012 Paralympic Games in London.
