Anjo started his judo journey relatively late compared to many athletes. At 23, he took up the sport and quickly showed promise. His commitment and hard work have been evident since the beginning, leading him to train under notable coaches.

Coaching and Training

Anjo trains at Clube Judo Total in Lisbon, Portugal. His training is overseen by national coaches Jeronimo Ferreira and Fernando Seabra. Their guidance has been instrumental in Anjo's development and success in judo.

Recognition and Awards

Anjo's efforts have not gone unnoticed. In 2022, he was awarded the Medal of Merit by the Portuguese Paralympic Committee. This honour was repeated in 2023, highlighting his consistent performance and dedication to judo.

In addition to his athletic skills, Anjo is multilingual. He speaks Portuguese and Spanish fluently. This ability helps him communicate effectively within the international judo community.
