Betta took up archery in 2000 at the age of 14. She was inspired by the English folklore character, Robin Hood. A local archer introduced her to the sport, which sparked her interest. By 2008, she made her debut for Italy.

Professional Career

Betta has represented Italy in various competitions. She competed in non-Para archery and participated in the 2022 European Championships held in Munich, Germany. Her partner, Matteo Bonacina, also represented Italy in archery at the 2016 and 2020 Paralympic Games.

Coaching and Support

Her training is overseen by national coaches Antonio Tosco and Fabio Fuchsova. Their guidance has been instrumental in her development as an archer.

Philosophy and Goals

Betta believes in performing consistently and savouring small victories. She aims to avoid distractions and take things one step at a time. Her ultimate goal is to reap the rewards of her labour and return with a smile.

Other Roles

Apart from her sporting career, Betta serves as an ambassador for the Italian Paralympic Committee. This role allows her to promote sports among differently-abled athletes.
