Fabien Lamirault Biography

Fab took up table tennis in 2000 at age 20 in France. Before his accident, he was involved in savate (French boxing) and handball. Post-accident, he discovered table tennis at a rehabilitation centre and immediately took to it. His right-handed play has been guided by coach Carole Grundisch from France.

Challenges and Injuries

In 2015, Fab suffered a shoulder injury while skiing. Despite this setback, he continued to pursue his passion for sports. His resilience and determination have been evident throughout his career.

Training and Ambitions

Fab splits his training between Aix-en-Provence and Ile-de-France in France. He aims to win gold at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris. His training regime is rigorous, reflecting his commitment to achieving this goal.
