An athlete and student, she has been making waves in the world of Para swimming. Currently studying Biochemistry at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland, she balances her academic pursuits with her passion for swimming. Her coach, Patrick Miley, has been instrumental in her journey.

Before acquiring her impairment, she competed in non-Para swimming and participated in the 2021 British Olympic Selection Trials in London. However, a car accident in 2021 changed her path. Determined to continue swimming, she found that her impairment affected her stroke. Her coach then suggested Para swimming.
Her determination paid off when she won three medals, including gold in the S10 100m butterfly, at the 2023 World Championships in Manchester, England. This achievement stands out as one of her most memorable moments.
In recognition of her talent and hard work, she was named Para Swimming Emerging Athlete of the Year for 2023 by British Swimming.
Her philosophy is simple yet powerful: "You can do it. No matter who is telling you you can't. I just think it's really, really important to trust yourself." This mindset has driven her success both in and out of the pool.
Looking ahead, she aims to compete at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris. This goal reflects her unwavering commitment to the sport and her desire to excel on the global stage.
Beyond swimming, she has been active in promoting youth involvement in sports. In 2018, she joined the Swim England Youth Advisory Panel. By November 2020, she was elected as the first chairperson of the Swim England North East Youth Forum. She believes it is essential for young people to have their voices heard in decisions that affect them.
Her journey from a young swimmer to a decorated Para athlete is a testament to her resilience and passion for the sport. As she continues to train under Patrick Miley's guidance, all eyes will be on her as she aims for Paralympic glory in Paris next year.
