15 young footballers for Arsenal Soccer Fete in London

Kozhikode, Feb 28 (UNI) Fifteen young footballers from various parts of the country will participate in the Arsenal International Soccer Festival, beginning in London on July 29.

The young players would also get an opportunity to undergo a training camp during the eight-day event organised by Arsenal FC, a member of the United Kingdom's premier football league.

The participants would be selected from among 30 players at a camp to be organised by Tata Tea in Kolkata on May nine and ten, Mr Rasheed JeeJeeBhoy of High Life Management, who is coordinating selection camps in various parts of the country, told reporters here today.

Of the 30, two players would be selected from a regional tournament to be attended by teams from various parts of the state here tomorrow, he said.

Similar tournaments would be held at Chandigarh, Delhi, Mumbai, Bhubaneswar and Shillong, he added.
