AC Milan's manager, Sergio Conceicao, has urged his players to remain grounded as they prepare for the upcoming Coppa Italia final against Bologna. In a recent Serie A match, Milan defeated Bologna 3-1, with Santiago Gimenez scoring twice after coming off the bench and Christian Pulisic also finding the net. This victory marked Milan's third consecutive league win.
Conceicao emphasized the importance of learning from their recent match against Bologna. "From [Saturday], we will start preparing for the Coppa Italia. We have to learn from what we did and did not do, as there were negatives and positives tonight," he told Sky Sport Italia. He anticipates changes in both teams' line-ups for the final but acknowledges that sometimes the team playing less attractive football can still win.

Milan and Bologna are closely matched in Serie A standings, with only a few points separating them. Bologna has slipped to seventh place after securing just one win in their last six matches. Despite this, Conceicao remains cautious and focused on improving his team's performance ahead of the final.
A victory in the Coppa Italia would secure Milan's second trophy under Conceicao this season. However, speculation surrounds his future at the club beyond this season. Conceicao addressed these rumours by stating, "I am accustomed to certain things. This is not the moment to talk about me. At the right moment, I will speak."
Bologna's coach, Vincenzo Italiano, expressed frustration over his team's performance against Milan. All of Milan's goals came in the last 20 minutes of the match. Italiano remarked, "We were in control of the game, had chances to score a second goal, but there was a 15-minute blackout that I cannot explain."
Italiano noted that despite their collapse late in the game, his team showed character and could have scored more goals earlier on. He plans to analyse this performance thoroughly before Wednesday's final to ensure a better approach from substitutes.
As both teams gear up for their crucial encounter in Rome next week, all eyes will be on how they adapt and perform under pressure. The outcome will determine whether Milan can add another trophy to their cabinet or if Bologna can turn their fortunes around with a significant victory.
