The Old lady were in a dire need of a first choice full-back after their star right-back Dani Alves opted to join Paris Saint German.

The Italian Champions were at first reportedly targetted the likes of Manchester United's Matteo Darmian, Southampton's Cedric Soares and Real Madrid's Danilo among others in their search for a new first-choice right-back but it is De Sciglio who has now made the cut.
'Mattia De Sciglio arrived at J|Medical on Wednesday (July 19) morning at approximately 9.00 CEST to undergo medical tests ahead of his proposed move to Juventus,' Juve's statement read via their website.
The deal will reportedly see Juventus paying around €12m to sign the Italian defender from Milan with potential bonuses.
The highly anticipated deal would be a big step in the career of the AC Milan youth product, who joined the academy at the age of 10 and made 110 league appearances for the club, winning only Supercoppa Italiana with them.
The move will also see him reunite with his former boss Max Allegri who gave him his debut in a Champions League game against Viktoria Plzen in September 2011.
The news of De Sciglio's expected signing comes a day after the Bianconeri signed Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny from Arsenal. The 27-year-old who spent the last two seasons on loan at Roma signed for €10m to become Gianluigi Buffon's backup at the Allianz Stadium.
Juventus have also previously closed deals for Bayern Munich's Douglas Costa on loan and the permanent transfers of Medhi Benatia and Juan Cuadrado.
They also sold their star defender Leonardo Bonucci to AC Milan for a reported £35 million fee and are now looking to sign Lazio Winger Keita Balde and Fiorentina winger Federico Bernardeschi.
