Sergio Conceicao has confirmed that AC Milan will face Torino in Serie A without their injured right-back, Kyle Walker. Walker, who joined Milan on loan from Manchester City in January, has played six matches for the Rossoneri. The Italian club has an option to purchase the 34-year-old at the end of the season.
AC Milan is currently grappling with injuries to several key players as they aim to recover from their recent Champions League exit. They were eliminated by Feyenoord after a 2-1 aggregate loss in the play-offs, which ended their hopes of advancing to the last 16 of Europe's premier club competition.

Conceicao mentioned that Christian Pulisic is not yet fit enough to play a full match. "Pulisic certainly doesn't have 90 minutes on a physical level," he stated. Santiago Gimenez is improving but still needs to reach peak fitness to meet Conceicao's demands for intensity over a full game.
The coach also highlighted the challenges he faced upon joining Milan, noting many players were struggling or injured. "I found many players struggling and many injured when I arrived," he said. Ruben Loftus-Cheek and now Walker are among those affected, making squad management difficult with matches every three days.
Since Conceicao took charge of his first league match against Cagliari on January 11, Milan has collected 14 points in Serie A. This tally is tied with Roma, Juventus, and Inter for the most points during this period. The Rossoneri are currently seventh in the standings, five points behind fourth-placed Juventus.
Milan is enjoying a four-match unbeaten run in Serie A, having won their last two games without conceding against Empoli and Hellas Verona. However, they face a tough challenge against Torino, who have been formidable at home against Milan historically.
Torino has been unbeaten in 10 of their last 11 home encounters with Milan in Serie A. Their only defeat was a heavy 7-0 loss back in May 2021. Conceicao acknowledged the difficulty of facing Torino, stating that it would be like playing a Champions League final for them.
"Without a doubt, it is a very important match against a difficult opponent," Conceicao remarked. He emphasised that maintaining the right attitude is crucial as they approach each game with determination until the season ends.
Conceicao joined AC Milan in December after leaving Porto and replaced Paulo Fonseca as head coach. He signed a contract with Milan until June 2026 and expressed his respect for the club's illustrious history filled with legendary figures among coaches, players, and managers.
"I know that Milan's history is fabulous," Conceicao said. He acknowledged the pressure of managing such a prestigious team but relishes the challenge it presents. Despite receiving other offers, he chose Milan because he enjoys tackling difficult tasks.
