Goncalo Ramos Joins AC Milan From Paris Saint-Germain On Club-Record Transfer
AC Milan have confirmed the signing of Portugal forward Goncalo Ramos from Paris Saint-Germain on a five-year contract. Italian reports state the agreement is valued at 80m including add-ons, setting a new transfer record for the club.
The move follows a difficult 2025-26 campaign for Milan, who slipped to fifth after a late-season collapse and missed Champions League qualification. Milan scored only 53 Serie A goals, the lowest total among the top six, and no player reached double figures.

Ramos becomes the first incoming player under new coach Ruben Amorim at the Rossoneri, signalling a planned rebuild of the attack. Rafael Leao finished as Milan’s leading league scorer with nine goals and is seeking a transfer away.
The striker arrives from PSG after three seasons in France. Ramos initially joined Paris Saint-Germain on loan from Benfica in 2023-24, then completed a permanent switch at that season’s end. Across all competitions for PSG, Ramos recorded 131 appearances and scored 45 goals.
| Team / Season | Appearances | Goals |
|---|---|---|
| PSG total (all competitions) | 131 | 45 |
| PSG 2025-26 | 50 | 13 |
| Milan 2025-26 (team in Serie A) | - | 53 |
| Rafael Leao 2025-26 (Serie A) | - | 9 |
During that spell, Ramos collected 12 major trophies with PSG, including three Ligue 1 titles and two Champions League wins. Ramos scored 13 goals in 50 matches last season, starting only 17 of those games, which highlighted efficiency despite limited starting opportunities.
Ramos is currently with Portugal at the World Cup and joins Milan while on international duty. The club shared the announcement on social media with the message: "No introduction needed Welcome, Gonalo Ramos".
The fee and contract length underline Milan’s intention to address recent attacking struggles with a long-term option.
