Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino will leave the club in the summer, according to reports.
Roberto Firmino, who is at the Merseyside club since 2015, will be leaving the club on a free transfer in the summer. His contract expires this season and the Brazilian has decided to leave the club to seek new pastures.
Firmino has had a stellar career at Liverpool, but the centre forward has seen his chances getting limited over the last couple of seasons. The 31-year-old has made only 37 league appearances since the start of last season, but wants to play more regularly. The arrivals of Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota have significantly curbed Firmino's minutes at the club.
Liverpool offered the player a new contract, but Firmino respectfully rejected the offer as he sees himself out of the club next season. This will end Firmino's eight-year-long association with the club. The player informed his decision to the manager and the club recently and will see out the final months of his current contract.
Roberto Firmino has made 353 appearances for the Reds so far across all competitions. he has scored 107 goals so far for them and has been an instrumental part of Jurgen Klopp's squad in the last few years or so.

The Brazil international has won the Premier League, UEFA Champions League with the Merseyside club and is one of the most endeared characters in the team.
Firmino's departure means the Brazilian is open to talking with any clubs for a possible move next summer.
Firmino is tipped to make a big move in the summer. The Brazilian player can make a move to Benfica, while Bayern Munich are also said to be reportedly interested in him. Fellow Premier League club Newcastle United can also be a possible destination for the forward.
