Her journey began in Delhi and led her to the UK, where she pursued a Master's in Sports Management and played for West Ham United. "This game gave me more than just a career; it gave me an identity," she shared. Aditi balanced education and passion, which defined her path.

International Success and Challenges

Aditi's international career was marked by success. She played 57 matches for India and contributed to winning the SAFF Women's Championship in 2012, 2016, and 2019. Her signing with West Ham United for the Women's Super League in England brought her widespread attention.

Despite injuries, including two ACL recoveries, Aditi remained resilient. "I believe I set an example for other players that one could overcome anything with mental courage," she stated. Her determination helped her reclaim the No. 1 jersey multiple times.

Domestic Achievements and Support

Returning to India in early 2018, Aditi joined Gokulam Kerala FC for the 2019-20 Indian Women's League. She won the IWL title twice with them and reached the AFC Women's Club Championship semi-finals. Her consistency over 17 years is what she cherishes most as a professional athlete.

Aditi credits her parents for their unwavering support throughout her career. "Everything that I am...has been possible because of my mom," she acknowledged. Her final season saw her play a crucial role for Sribhumi FC, securing a third-place finish in the IWL.

Future Plans and Legacy

As Aditi steps away from playing, she remains committed to contributing to football off the pitch. "My second half is about giving back to the game that gave me everything," she wrote. She aims to build a stronger pathway for future generations.

Her message to aspiring players is clear: "Dream big, believe in yourself, and put in the work." Aditi's legacy will inspire many young athletes to pursue their dreams with dedication and resilience.
