AFC Asian Cup Final Full List of Award Winners, Prize Money And Other Details

The AFC Asian Cup final culminated on Saturday (February 10) with Qatar retaining the back-to-back continental titles by defeating Jordan 1-3 in the final played at the Lusail Stadium in Lusail (Qatar).

A hoards of awards were presented at the post-match presentation ceremony, including the AFC Asian Cup trophy to the eventual winners and hosts Qatar in front of the packed stands. MyKel takes a look at the list of award winners at the presentation ceremony.

The presentation ceremony was attended by FIFA president Gianni Infantino, AFC president Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Crown Prince of Jordan Hussein bin Abdullah among other dignitaries.

Akram Afif scored a hat trick of penalties to give Qatar the Asian Cup championships for the second time in a row. With eight goals in all, the forward finished as the tournament's top scorer at Lusail Stadium. He scored once in the first half of the match and twice more after the interval.

After Yazan Al Naimat tied the score in the second half, Qatar was given two penalties after a video review, and Afif converted both times without hesitation. After Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi lit up this magnificent stadium during the World Cup, it was Afif's turn. His goals in front of over 86,000 spectators capped an incredible tournament.
