The AFC Champions League 2023/24 season group stage draw was held at the AFC House in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Thursday (August 24) with Indian Super League (ISL) side Mumbai City FC and Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr among the sides in the West Zone.
ISL league shield winners Mumbai City FC, who were in pot 3, have been drawn in Group D alongside Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal, Persian Gulf Pro League side FC Nassaji and Uzbekistan Super League side Navbahor.

Mumbai City will face the likes of Neymar, Malcolm, Ruben Neves and Kalidou Koulibaly, who are part of the top European stars that moved to Al Hilal in the summer transfer window. So, Neymar will be travelling to India to face Mumbai City FC this season.
The present infrastructural setup at the Mumbai Football Arena makes the venue ineligible to host AFC Champions League games. So, Mumbai City FC will play their home games at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Balewadi, Pune.
