The All India Football Federation (AIFF) announced their annual award winners on Tuesday (July 4).
The apex body of Indian football took to social media to name six players and coaches who have been chosen as the best in their respective categories for the 2022-23 season.

The AIFF had their AGM in Bengaluru on Tuesday and all the award winners were announced at that programme. A total of six award winners were announced, representing three categories - Senior Player of the Year, Emerging Player of the Year, and Coach of the Year. (Male and Female in all three categories)
Mumbai City FC winger Lallianzuala Chhangte has been awarded the Best Male's Senior Player of the Year. The 25-year-old had a stellar campaign with the Islanders where he scored 10 goals in the season, helping his team to win the ISL shield.
Chhangte's new Mumbai City teammate, who played for Hyderabad FC last season, has been chosen as the Male Emerging Player of the Year.
Similarly, Manisha Kalyan, who plays her club football with Cyprus outfit Apollon, has been chosen as the Senior Female Player of the Year. The 21-year-old netted six goals for Apollon last season in 20 appearances.
Shilji Shaji, a youngster from Gokulam Kerala women's team has topped the Emerging Female player category.
Priya PV has been picked as the best female coach, whereas former India international Clifford Miranda won the best Male coach award for his excellent season with Odisha FC.
