AIFF names 24 probables for Olympic qualifier camp

New Delhi, Feb 10 (PTI) The All India Football Federationtoday named 24 probables for a six-day national camp in Punefor the Pre-Olympic qualifier against Myanmar later thismonth.

All the 24 members except for four are from the newI-League side Indian Arrows, a side floated by the AIFF andmix of national Under 19 and Under 23 players.

Churchill Brothers goalkeeper Arindam Bhattacharya, MohunBagan defender N Mohanraj, East Bengal defender Nirmal Chhetriand his club mate striker Robin Singh were the four playersnot in the Indian Arrows.

All the 24 players are below 23 years of age. Threeabove 23 players can be named in a country''s squad inthe Olympics.

The camp will start on February 17 and the final squad of18 will be named later.

India are scheduled to play Myanmar on February 23 in thefirst leg at Balewadi Sports Complex, Pune while the secondleg will be played at Yangon, Myanmar on March 9.

The Probables: Arindam Bhattacharya, Gurpreet SinghSandhu, Jagroop Singh, Abhisek Das, R Vishal Kumar, RajuGaekawad, Nirmal Chhetri, Deepak Devrani, Lalrozama Fenai, NMohanraj, Jibon Singh, Shilton D Silva, Jewel Raja Sheikh,Oinam Milan Singh, Subodh Kumar, Lalrin Dika, Jeje Lalpekhlua,Malsawm Fela, Robin Singh, C S Sabeeth, Inderpreet Singh,Jagtar Singh, Bikramjit Singh and Manandeeep.
