Al Kholood managed to reduce the deficit when Ali Lajami scored an own goal in the 72nd minute. Despite having more attempts than Al-Nassr, with 23 shots compared to Al-Nassr's 13, they only managed three shots on target. In contrast, Al-Nassr had seven shots on target.

League Standings and Future Prospects

The victory allowed Al-Nassr to leapfrog Al-Qadsiah into third place on goal difference. They now have 51 points after Damac defeated Al-Qadsiah with a late goal by Habib Diallo. Meanwhile, Al Kholood remains in tenth place with 31 points.
