Al-Nassr Secures 3-1 Comeback Victory Over Al-Okhdood With Ronaldo And Mane's Goals

Al-Nassr came from behind to defeat Al-Okhdood 3-1, with Sadio Mane scoring twice and Cristiano Ronaldo converting a penalty. This victory boosts their position in the Saudi Pro League standings.

Al-Nassr secured a crucial win against Al-Okhdood, triumphing 3-1 at Al-Awwal Park. Sadio Mane was instrumental, scoring twice to overturn an early deficit. This victory helped Al-Nassr climb to third in the Saudi Pro League standings after their previous loss to Al-Ittihad.

Al-Okhdood took an unexpected lead in the sixth minute when Christian Bassogog's cross wasn't cleared effectively, allowing Saviour Godwin to score from close range. However, Mane quickly equalised after Sultan Al Ghannam's header was saved by Paulo Vitor, with Mane finishing from close range.

Al-Nassr Triumphs 3-1 Against Al-Okhdood

Al-Nassr took the lead just before halftime when Damion Lowe fouled Mane in the penalty area. Cristiano Ronaldo converted the resulting penalty, putting the hosts ahead. Despite dominating possession after the break, Al-Nassr struggled to extend their lead as Otavio, Abdulrahman Ghareeb, and Angelo couldn't beat Vitor.

Mane sealed the victory late on with a precise header from Al Ghannam's cross, marking his fifth league goal of the season. This persistence paid off for Al-Nassr as they maintained control throughout the match.

Before this encounter, Al-Nassr had lost two of their last three league matches, equalling their total losses from the previous 42 games. However, they managed to regain momentum with this impressive performance. They recorded an expected goals (xG) total of 2.65 from 14 attempts while limiting Al-Okhdood to just 0.33 xG from seven shots.

Cristiano Ronaldo has now scored four goals in three matches against Al-Okhdood in the Pro League. He has achieved this feat of scoring in his first three matches against a single opponent for a fourth time, following similar performances against Al-Fateh, Al-Wehda, and Al-Shabab.
