Al Nassr are poised to bring in players in the January Transfer window as the Saudi club gears up for the opening of the window in a couple of days.
Al Nassr have made some giant strides in 2023. First, they made the groundbreaking signing of Cristiano Ronaldo in January. And then in the summer, they added their artillery with some more elite European players. The likes of Marcelo Brozovic, Sadio Mane, Aymeric Laporte - all have joined Al Nassr in the summer.

And according to reports, they are eyeing to bolster their squad in the winter window as well.
Currently, they are placed 2nd in the Saudi Pro League table as they are 7 points behind leaders Al Hilal, and to bridge the gap, the Al Nasr Management may allow them to splash money again in the upcoming window.
But will they go for the signature of Cristiano Ronaldo's 'Best Friend'? Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal teammate William Carvalho was linked with a move to the Saudi Club in the summer. There were reports of Carvalho joining them as the Portuguese talisman wanted the club to sign him.
It was Lens midfielder Seko Fofana whom the Saudi club got, and then they added their midfield with two more elite signings in Marcelo Brozovic and Otavio. But as the January window approaches, there is speculation whether Al Nassr may turn their eyes on Carvalho again.
William Carvalho plays in Spanish club Real Betis and he has been there since 2018. The 31-year-old has been an influential figure at Betis but is open to leaving in January.
William Carvalho is tied with Real Betis till 2026. It is highly unlikely that Al Nassr will pay a hefty amount for the defensive midfielder as early as this January. Also, they do have enough players in the midfield at this moment.
So we don't think the Knights of Najd will concentrate on Carvalho in January until some major departure in the midfield area. But there is a chance of Carvalho coming in at the club in future, but the Portugal international is unlikely to be cladded in the Al Nassr Yellow in January.
