Al Nassr will be up against Portuguese giants SL Benfica in a pre-season friendly on Thursday (July 20). The Saudi club are on their pre-season run in Portugal and will be playing their third match.

The Saudi club who finished 2nd last season in the Saudi Pro League will be hoping to come back after a 5-0 defeat at the hands of La Liga side Celta de Vigo. In the previous match, Al Nassr won 5-1 against Farense, while willing 2-0 against Alverca, but Cristiano Ronaldo was absent in both the matches.

After 14 seasons, Benfica have signed Angel Di Maria as the Argentine will be hoping to play against Al Nassr. The winger's return to the club was a perfect one as he scored on his debut in their 3-1 win over Basel.
