Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr managed a draw against Egyptian outfit Zamalek 1-1 in their final Arab Club Champions Cup group stage fixture on Thursday (August 3).
Al Nassr came from behind to secure a 1-1 draw against Zamalek and thus have qualified for the Arab Club Champions Cup knockout stages. Zizo scored from the spot to give the Egyptian club the lead, but it was Cristiano Ronaldo in rescue for Al Nassr who scored an 87th-minute equalizer.

That is all from us. Cristiano Ronaldo rose from the ruins like a maverick and has salvaged a huge result for Al Nassr. And as the Saudi club rejoice, it is time for us to bid adieu. See you soon for the next matches of the Arab Club Champions Cup. Till then, I am your host Sauradeep Ash saying Thank You and Good Bye!
Al Nassr have qualified for the knockouts as Group C runners up, while Al Shabab qualify as group winners. They won their final match 1-0 against US Monastir as Ever Banega scored the solitary goal.
It is a massive result for the Saudi club as they progress to the quarter-finals of the Arab Club Champions Cup. They won't be happy with the performance, but the job is done.

Its all over. Al Nassr have managed a 1-1 draw against Zamalek and thus have qualified for the Arab Club Champions Cup knockout stages. Zizo scored from the spot to give the Egyptian club the lead, but it was Cristiano Ronaldo in rescue for Al Nassr who scored an 87th minute equalizer.
Sadio Mane and Cristiano Ronaldo link up beautifully as Al Nassr come forward again. But the ball is cleared by Zamalek as it stands 1-1 with just a minute of added time to play.

Six minutes are added. Six minutes for Al Nassr to hold and Zamalek to find a winner.
That was a trademark finish from Ronaldo. Excellent leap and the bullet header was only heading one place, that is the back of the net. No chance for Sobhi and now Al Nassr are back in it and if the scoreline stands, Al Nassr will qualify along with Al Shabab.
Have a look at the Cristiano Ronaldo goal here.

Goaaaaal!! Cristiano Ronaldo scores. It is the Al Nassr captain who has scored a massive massive goal. Who else than the Portuguese?? What a hug moment for them. Decent ball from Konan and Ronaldo's header finds the back of the net.
Cristiano Ronaldo has been off-coloured all night and now he is offside from an attack and Al Nassr's possession is lost. The Saudi club don't have much time here and if they fail to find an equalizer, they are eliminated.
Zamalek defend to deny Al Nassr again. Decent play from Sadio Mane on the left-hand side but his cross is intercepted by Mathlouthi. Al Nassr's quest for an equalizer continues as we enter the final seven minutes of the match.
Good movement off the ball from Sadio Mane but the Senegal international is not found by Marcelo Brozovic. It is getting desperate for Al Nassr as they push for an equalizer.
Anderson Talisca heads one over. The ball is sent in from the right but the Brazilian fails to hit the target. Al Nasst trail with just 15 minutes to play.
Cristiano Ronaldo is frustrated and having a talk with his teammates. The buoyant crowd at the start of the match is clearly a lot more subdued at the moment. Anderson Talisca and Marcelo Brozovic link up and the Croatian's ball for Cristiano Ronaldo is overhit.
Luis Castro won't be happy with the way his team has reacted after going a goal down. A lot more drive and desire is required and the Saudi outfit is clearly missing that at the moment. Can Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mane inspire a comeback for Al Nassr?
Al Nassr are making substitutes and Alex Telles is off. Al Sulayah and Konan are coming on as the other player to go out is Abdulrahman Ghareeb.
An hour past at the King Fahd Stadium. If things stand like this, Al Nassr will be eliminated from the Arab Club Champions Cup. Al Shabab are winning the other match 1-0 against Monastir.
Shikabala was through on goal again for Zamalek but substitute Amri makes a crucial tackle to deny him. It is a magnificent tackle to say the least.
Al Nassr players are not happy as they thought Sadio Mane was fouled in the box. The referee gives a free kick to the other way. It is a massive lead for Zamalek and potential catastrophe for Al Nassr. But the Saudi club does have the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Sadio Mane to drag them out of this mud.
Zizo Scores to give Zamalek the elusive lead.

Goaaaaal!! Zamalek have taken the lead from the spot. Massive moment in the context of this game. Zizo makes no mistake and scores straight down the middle.
There is a handball shout from Zamalek as a header hit the hands of Alex Telles. VAR asks the referee to check it and the referee gives it a penalty to Zamalek.
A decent start in the second half from Al Nassr but they fail to take the lead as Cristiano Ronaldo hits his header wide. Early scare for Zamalek but they survive.
We are back for the 2nd half at the King Fahd Stadium. Sadio Mane is making his debut for Al Nassr here.

Cristiano Ronaldo will not be happy with the performance so far. It is to be seen whether Luis Castro makes a change in the second half as Sadio Mane is on the bench. Al Nassr created not many clear cut opportunities in the first half and they will require much more conviction and swivel with the ball after the break.
It is half time and it is goalless. Both teams have had some good chances but we are yet to see the opening goal at the King Fahd Stadium. As we go into the break, it is 0-0 between Al Nassr and Zamalek. In the other match, Al Shabab are leading Monastir 1-0, which means Al Nassr and Al Shabab will go through to next round as it stands.
Three minutes have been added at the end of the first half. It is a decent half in terms of football but neither team have been able to find a goal so far.
Zamalek are putting pressure on the Al Nassr defense. Sustained pressure from them as Shikabala and Zizo combined well on the right-hand side. In the end, Madu concedes a corner to avert danger.
Al Nassr: Alaqidi; Ghanam, Lajami, Madu, Telles; Brozovic, Fofana; Mane, Talisca, Ghareeb; Cristiano Ronaldo
Zamalek: Sobhi; Zenary, Mathlouthi, Ghani, Hatem; Dounga, Fotouh; Shikabala, Zizo, N'diaye; Jaziri
