Bengaluru, December 3: Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has suggested that Tottenham Hotspur's Dele Alli is worth "more than £100 million."

Pogba in 2016, for then, became the most costly footballer of the world when he moved to Old Trafford from Juventus for £89.3m whereas just one year prior, Alli joined Spurs from MK Dons for only £5m and since then has built up himself as one of the top performers of Mauricio Pochettino's side.

The playmaker has created a deadly combination with Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen and his amazing scoring boot has often been the talk of the town as many hailed him as the successor of Lampard.

The 21-year-old’s value has soared and his impressive display also recently linked him with a move to La Liga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona. Pogba, who was once the holder of the world record transfer fee now insisted that Alli would claim more than £100 million if Tottenham ever decided to sell.

“I think he is worth even more than £100m because you see how he plays — he is very talented but still very young,” Pogba told the Evening Standard.

“But he is mature as well — you can see that in his football.

“He can deal with the talk. You can see he doesn’t care. He should, and will, focus on his football, and the rest, they will always speak. Always focus on the field.”

However, the England international has been in indifferent form this year and has scored only seven goals this season but manager Mauricio Pochettino recently asserted that he was happy with the form of the 21-year-old.

Spurs have been also struggling to maintain their form and currently sit seventh on the table, a massive 15 points behind leaders Manchester City.
