Amad Diallo has committed to Manchester United with a new contract lasting five and a half years, securing his stay until June 2030. His previous contract was set to end this season, but the club chose not to activate a 12-month extension option. Instead, they offered the Ivory Coast player fresh terms due to his impressive performances this season.

Diallo has become a key figure in Ruben Amorim's squad, contributing six goals and seven assists in 28 matches across all competitions. Notably, he scored against both Manchester City and Liverpool, joining Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie as the only United players to achieve this feat away in the same Premier League season.

This season, Diallo has completed more dribbles (28) than any other Manchester United player in the Premier League. Only Bruno Fernandes surpasses him in creating chances, with Fernandes having made 43 opportunities compared to Diallo's contributions. These statistics highlight Diallo's growing influence on the pitch.

Since joining from Atalanta in 2021, Diallo has made 50 appearances for Manchester United across various competitions. He also had loan spells at Rangers and Sunderland. Now, he aims to play a significant role in restoring Manchester United to its former glory.
