Ruben Amorim has promised to clarify his potential move to Manchester United after Sporting CP's upcoming match. Amorim is expected to replace Erik ten Hag, who was dismissed on Monday. Ruud van Nistelrooy is currently managing United temporarily and recently guided them to a 5-2 victory over Leicester City in the EFL Cup.

Amorim emphasised the importance of focusing on the upcoming game rather than speculating about his future. "I know you [journalists] travelled here to talk about it and that's natural, but we'll leave that until the end of the game [when] I'll talk about all these issues," he added.

The coach acknowledged that discussing his potential move now could unsettle his team further. He stressed that his current focus remains on Estrela da Amadora and ensuring his players remain concentrated amid ongoing speculation.
