Carlo Ancelotti Calls For Patience With Young Players Guler And Endrick At Real Madrid

Carlo Ancelotti has urged patience regarding young players Arda Guler and Endrick at Real Madrid. He ruled out January loan moves, highlighting their need for experience while acknowledging their potential contributions in upcoming matches.

Carlo Ancelotti has urged patience regarding the development of Real Madrid's young talents, Arda Guler and Endrick. Despite limited appearances this season, with Guler starting six times and Endrick just once, Ancelotti dismissed any January transfer rumours. He confirmed both players would remain at the club during a press conference before their Champions League match against Atalanta.

Endrick, a Brazilian international, was recently rumoured to be considering a loan move for more experience. However, Ancelotti emphasised that both Endrick and Guler are staying put. "Endrick stays here, just like Guler," he stated firmly. The coach highlighted his commitment to selecting the best players for each game, regardless of age.

Ancelotti Advocates Patience for Guler and Endrick

Ancelotti explained that his decisions are based on performance rather than age or experience. "I only try to put the best players out there for each match," he said. This approach means sometimes leaving out younger players like Endrick or Guler if it benefits the team.

Guler recently played 89 minutes and scored in Real Madrid's 3-0 victory over Girona. In the same match, Endrick made a brief appearance towards the end. Both have participated in the Champions League this season and might feature against Atalanta on Tuesday.

Ancelotti stressed the importance of patience with young players, acknowledging their enthusiasm but also recognising their need for growth. "We need to be patient with young players," he noted. Their youthful energy is valuable, yet they must still learn various aspects of the game.

The coach's strategy involves nurturing these young talents while balancing their playtime with more experienced squad members. His focus remains on fielding a competitive team capable of achieving success in all competitions.
