Carlo Ancelotti's ability to nurture young talent could significantly impact Endrick's development at Real Madrid, according to Brazilian World Cup winners Dida and Cafu. Endrick joined the Spanish club from Palmeiras in July for a reported €60 million, signing a six-year contract with the 15-time Champions League victors. The 17-year-old has netted two goals in nine appearances this season but has only played 107 minutes in total.
Cafu, who played under Ancelotti at Milan, believes Endrick is in capable hands for his early career stages. "Ancelotti is a great coach, and he is really good at developing young players," Cafu stated at Festival dello Sport in Trento, Italy. "He's really good at managing them, understands them, and knows when it's the right time for them to play or stay on the bench."

Dida echoed Cafu's sentiments, expressing hope that Endrick will become a key player for Brazil by the 2026 World Cup. "We all know Carlo [Ancelotti], he knows how to manage all the champions," Dida said. "He knows how to make these kids grow even if they are already in an important team."
In November 2023, Endrick was called up to the Brazil national team for the first time, becoming the youngest male player since Ronaldo Nazario in 1994 to receive a senior call-up. He scored his first international goal against England at Wembley in March and added another three days later against Spain.
Endrick participated in Dorival Junior's Copa America squad. After three substitute appearances during the group stage, he started against Uruguay in the quarter-final due to Vinicius' suspension. However, he struggled during that match, completing just one pass as Brazil lost on penalties.
Ancelotti has demonstrated trust in young talents like Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Junior, and Rodrygo during his time with Los Blancos. His experience and understanding of youth development make him an ideal mentor for Endrick. "For someone like him he will be like a father who will give the right advice," Cafu added.
Cafu remains optimistic about Endrick's future potential. "Endrick can become a great player," Cafu concluded. "He's young and has enormous potential and can grow a lot." With Ancelotti guiding him, there is confidence that Endrick can reach top-tier status.
