Ange Postecoglou has addressed Mauricio Pochettino's interest in potentially returning to manage Tottenham Hotspur. Pochettino, who led the team from 2014 to 2019, recently expressed his wish to return in the future. Despite Tottenham's current position of 14th in the Premier League, Postecoglou remains unfazed by speculation about his job security.
Postecoglou acknowledged that there are many qualified candidates who could succeed him if necessary. However, he remains committed to his role and is not bothered by rumours. "It doesn't rock my world," he stated when discussing the ongoing speculation about his position at the club.

With Tottenham facing challenges this season, Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola is reportedly a top candidate to replace Postecoglou if a change occurs. Despite this, Postecoglou continues to focus on improving the team's performance and achieving success with the squad.
Postecoglou commented on Pochettino's aspirations, saying, "Mauricio, if he wants to come back one day, I hope it happens for him." He emphasised that everyone has dreams and ambitions and does not feel disrespected by Pochettino's comments.
The former Celtic manager highlighted his dedication to transforming Tottenham's playing style and revitalising the squad. He stated that he was hired for these purposes and intends to continue focusing on these goals. "I am here and passionate about what we are doing," Postecoglou affirmed.
He also mentioned that if the club chooses a new direction, there are excellent candidates available. However, he remains confident in his abilities and believes others might see value in his coaching skills: "Maybe somebody will think: 'Ange Postecoglou's not a bad coach, maybe we'll take a punt on him'."
Postecoglou is determined to bring success to Tottenham despite external pressures. His commitment remains strong as he works towards achieving the objectives set for him when he joined the club.
