Angel Di Maria picked superstars Lionel Messi and Neymar, but notably snubbed Cristiano Ronaldo while naming his dream starting XI from his current and former teammates.

The World Cup winner has played with a host of superstar players during his playing career. While naming the best XI with the players he played alongside during his illustrious career, Di Maria named a side full of Argentine players.

Di Maria is among the few top players who have played alongside both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. However, the Argentine winger snubbed Ronaldo from his XI while naming his dream XI. While he named Messi in his side, he also picked Brazilian superstar Neymar.

Di Maria picked four defenders, three midfielders, and three attackers for his dream XI. He named Emiliano Martinez between the sticks while the back four comprised of Sergio Ramos, Javier Mascherano, Nicolas Otamendi and Marcelo.

He picked himself alongside Rui Costa and Neymar in midfield while the attack comprised of Lionel Messi, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Kylian Mbappe. Interestingly, Di Maria has played the third-highest number of games alongside Ronaldo and is also third for goal combinations with 28 in 166 games. Despite that, he snubbed the Portuguese superstar which seems that he is looking to please Lionel Messi.
