The match at Stade Raymond Kopa saw PSG dominate early, with Lee Kang-In and Bradley Barcola each scoring twice in the first half. Lee Kang-In opened the scoring for PSG in the 17th minute. He quickly added another goal three minutes later, converting Marco Asensio's low cross. Asensio continued to be instrumental, assisting again as Barcola made it 3-0 just after the hour mark. Barcola then headed in from Lee’s cross before halftime, securing his second goal.

Angers managed to reduce the deficit during stoppage time. Esteban Lepaul and Emmanuel Biumla scored for the hosts, making the final scoreline more respectable. Despite this late effort, Angers could not overcome PSG's early dominance.
