After an engrossing win over Bayer Leverkusen last night, Griezmann said that he is very happy to be a part of the Atletico side and he would love to create history at the club by staying longer.

Griezmann's strike along with Kevin Gameiro, Saul Niguez and Fernando Torres' strikes helped Atletico register a 4-2 win over Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League round of 16 clash.
Speaking to Spanish TV, Antoine Griezmann said: "I'm proud to become part of Atletico's history with my goal and hopefully I can carry on making history here."
This statement clearly suggests that he is no mood to leave the club anytime soon as he wants to achieve a lot with Atletico.
Speaking about their match against Leverkusen, he said: "We knew it was going to be a tough game. They pressured us and made life difficult, but the boss's changes helped us win the game. We have a big game to play now in front of our own fans."
"Bayer boss Roger Schmidt was full of praise for Atletico after seeing his side beaten.
"It was a very difficult evening for us," said Schmidt. "It is easy to see how Atletico have reached two finals in three years."
