Argentina has announced their final squad for the Copa America 2024 on Saturday (June 15). The defending champions have picked their 26-member team who will take part in the Copa America.
Angel Correa, Leonardo Balerdi, and Valentin Barco have been excluded from Lionel Scaloni's Argentina squad for the upcoming Copa America. Scaloni had previously named a 29-man provisional squad as Argentina aims to retain their title, with Lionel Messi leading the team.

Correa, who has 25 caps and three goals for Argentina, came on as a substitute in their first friendly against Ecuador but remained on the bench against Guatemala. Marseille defender Balerdi has not featured for the national team since 2019, while Barco only has one international appearance.
On the other hand, 19-year-old Valentin Carboni, who started in the 4-1 win over Guatemala, made the cut after receiving high praise from Messi for his performance. Enzo Fernandez, who missed the end of Chelsea's Premier League campaign due to groin surgery, played in both warm-up matches and retained his spot.
Argentina will start their Copa America title defence in Group A against Canada on June 20.
